Yes, you need to port forward, but if people are getting in then they're probably getting consistency failures, which due to SRB2's dying netcode there isn't much you can do to prevent.

Now that SRB2Win offeres the ability to natively change resolution from within the game, I'm wondering if anyone uses anything other then the low default, and if so, how it looks. Is there a benefit, or does it just make everything smaller and wider?

Just use the torrent - it's very fast and has a lot of seeds now. I downloaded it in only a few minutes more then I would have normally downloaded SRB2 via a regular link.

I think he was trying to tell you he found a pirated version O_o. They do exist but they are far inferior to the real thing, which is updated regularly and has all the online functions. I do own Audiosurf, and it's well worth the $10. Good game to pick up, play a few songs, then put down again.

I'm hoping this is the correct place to put this: Are there plans to implement openGL support in the form of an alternate .exe like prettySRB2 or within srb2win, even if not by the official SRB2 team? OpenGL really improves the look of the game, in my opinion.

If there's something IN there though you might want to try blowing it out with compressed air, or sending your laptop in... not generally a good idea to have something sitting on your motherboard or sound card.

TF2 also has some swears, which the ESRB gets pretty angry about every now and then. The gibs can be turned off - I believe that if TF2 were sold with them off by default, it could easily earn a T rating. E10+, I doubt, because of the presence of guns.

2Fort is an okay map in general, but frankly I find it boring after relatively short periods of time. Unless my friends are on, I'm not likely to stay more then 15 minutes on a 24/7 2Fort server. It's simply not entertaining enough for me.
