I can't put rings ON my bridges! I put rings where the bridges are and then when i test my map,the rings are under the bridge! How do i remedy this?

How do you create underground tunnels considering i want to put water in it? How do you make bridges using FOF?(What settings? etc.) Also,how do i CONNECT bridges to round platforms? Donovan did not understand very well the part in Caps.
