The sprites are good, but you really shouldn't save them as .jpg, as it lowers the quality a lot. Save as .bmp or .png.

Well I like it. The things I find off are that the shoes on the back sprite seem to be backwards, and the orange is really pale.

Ow, my eyes... The GFZ colors are a lot more faded.

I really love the sprites, but I find the colors to be a bit too bright. And Sonic's thok is slow, which... is odd, but you did have a reason for that, so. Is fine. EDIT: You made the Knuckles sprites in 2.0? Good job! I got tired of looking at those other oddly-colored and out-of-place ones. ._o
