Yeah, sorry. Just been busy with a lot of other things and haven't found the time or motivation to come back. I still do have a big update planned that was in the works and will come someday but I can't make any promises when.
Boostmentum is a boost and momentum mod, hence the name. The command boostm only disables boosting, it does not disable the momentum. Even if the momentum were disabled, he'd likely reach those same ridiculous speeds while boosting because he's not compatible with how either feature of this mod...
There's nothing to fix. Boostmentum's method of accelerating the character is incompatible with some other methods that these custom characters use. I will not be adding support for various custom characters. Modern Sonic already has his own boost. I recommend playing a character that doesn't...
mod pages go down any time there is any edits on them. nothing I can do to speed that up; you just gotta wait and check a bit later.
why mod pages don't display the previous pre-edit version, while waiting for the edits to be approved is quite bizarre but its how this place is for some reason.
I dunno when its going to be done, but I am working on a new version of Boostmentum that should have a fun assortment of new features as well as a more simplified mapper-version that anyone can use (and upload) on their custom stages.
That's fine with me, as long as its for personal-use and not...
that was fast! awesome work, thank you so much for getting these out for us. I hope it gets fixed eventually, but in the meantime at least we can host servers without having to worry about the crashing.
This is caused by using another momentum or speed modifying mod alongside mine. Characters with their own boosts are incompatible, as the description states. Many OCs tend to add a million abilities that can conflict, so official characters (vanilla and modded) are recommended.
Its waiting on re-approval from a super minor edit. Sorry. Should be back up shortly.
Check the description of the Nu Angel Island trailer to get a replacement link for Boostmentum until its visible again.
edit: its back up now
Looks pretty good and its nice to see another classic zone re-created in SRB2.
If I had to make a couple suggestions - maybe tone down the white tops a bit? Its extremely bright. A lot of art depictions of Starlight Zone show that the bright white on the side is a trim around a darker grey road...
Its definitely possible. Not sure if its something I particularly would make myself though. I haven't really thought of what else I'd like to see in this game yet other than a universal grind. Maybe an optimized universal light dash, since the couple out there either have sync issues in...
They're all nice, but the original light blue one looks the best to me followed by the second image in this post with the white clouds. The first is too dark and grim, the third is too cartoonie and doesn't mesh with the rest of the artstyle, and the 4th is a bit too round. I think the redrawn...
I will not be disabling it when super, because it works fine with the majority of super forms and that's a custom character anyway. You can always use the console command boostm to turn it off if it doesn't work quite right on a certain character.
