Where you even get the patch from, it's not even officially released yet. Besides, regardless of the patch, srb2dd.exe shouldn't be used anyways, it's not supported, and only exist for compatibility...

Blame SDL_Mixer, it's explicitly for some reason in it's source code, and a workaround that can be applied from the game's side of things is very hacky, which I doubt the developers would approve of....
