Missiles still slide up slopes

You have to hit the slope at a gentle angle, but it can still happen.

Wait...

Isn't this bug already fixed on 2.1.19?

Not perfectly, the hotfix in 2.1.19 doesn't fix every single way missiles can slide up slopes, but it does stop them from doing so easily regardless of angle. =V

Why do i feel like that can be a function used for puzzle maps?

Yeah, I can see the use there. I'm wondering why having projectiles being affected by slopes is considered a bug; personally, I think that's a really cool thing.

The solution is probably to have a flag that toggles the behavior.

I just want to point out that this behavior also happens in NiGHTS mode, I discovered this with testing internal maps. It's definitely a behavior I would like to toggle based on what the slope is supposed to do in the level.

The entire purpose of a MF_MISSILE object in Doom/SRB2 is to explode when colliding with any surface or solid object. If you want to create an alternate object for puzzle purposes, Lua will assist you in your task.

Meanwhile, NiGHTS gliding up slopes is just not having the collision properly implemented. Whilst this will be enabled by default, the No Physics flag will likely disable that.
