The Sonic X Ring Burst Ability! - This is a mod I've made all by myself! A recreation of the spindash ability from sonic x into srb2!

The ability is inspiration from the anime series "Sonic X". And the Scripting was all done by me. Speed and fly through the map with this (Over Powered) Ability! To use this ability, you must be sonic and get 15 first. Once done, press and hold tossflag and you'll be able to fly for 4 seconds! hold jump to fly up and spin to fly down. You can also use the command "xspinrings" in console to change the amount of rings you need to use it. It's 15 by default though. Is this mod multiplayer...

Well heres a bit more thoughts on the mod, it really lacks visual effects to make it well, feel powerful. What I recommend is to add like the light speed dash effect that Adventure Sonic has, with the Blue aura become white like the anime. Another things are trails, like the trails on momentum when you are going too fast but white.

I don't think adventure sonic will have this ability, but I can see.

The trails for it? That's already done yesterday.

Could you make it so that he could use this ability longer than 4 seconds? It's really fun but every time I try to use it for speed during platforming sections but as soon as I'm close to making it through (metal sonic race), I run out of time (and lose a few rings for using the power and then touching the lava) and fall to my demise. Could you increase the time to maybe 10 seconds instead?
 
I think that's on you, 4 seconds full of speed and horizontal momentum SHOULD be enough, in Arid Canyon zone you can literally take Knuckles section in act 2.

Never mind, I realized a while ago before you replied that if I get a running start and THEN do the ability I can get crazy speed and even better, if I hold the toss flag button and then hold the spin button I can bounce off the floor to get a boost of speed (by building it up of course). So now I know how useful this is with these techniques in my arsenal.
