Hopefully those of you that have things on Sepwich have backed up everything important, because it's gone. Considering how long this forum used to be on there before we got our server, it kinda feels like the end of an era.
You might also be able to contact some of the original creators and politely ask them to port them to 2.0.6. Don't be surprised if they say they don't want to though.
Hey, I didn't say certain posts WEREN'T a bit rude, but they still made completely valid points regarding why they disliked the concept. Just because somebody is tactless doesn't necessarily make them wrong.
There have been several examples of constructive criticism in this thread. Some of them have been blunt, but pretty much everyone here has said exactly why they feel the way they do about your mod.
Even if the opinion is "I hate this WAD", it's still constructive so long as they explain why...

The only thing that springs to mind as far as open-ended/sandbox executed well with an atypical character was Spiderman 2. It was surprisingly fun just swinging around the city, I felt.
(This is mainly directed at SpiritCrusher since he seems WAY too hostile for someone essentially complaining that people are having fun without his permission, but it probably rings true for several people.)
Trying to quantify fun is a hard thing to do. If it wasn't, then making things that are...
