Zone Builder, huh? I remember when the tool to use was SRB2 Doom Builder. I have not looked at modding since I came back, but I very much enjoyed submitting to the OLDC.
So far today I've just gotten through Techno Hill Zone for the first time in many many years. You have slopes now, haha! That actually really does help. SRB2 originally convinced me you don't need slopes to make a good Sonic game, but hey, it does help! And the levels are so much longer and...
I think it's generally pretty bad for Twitter that he took it over. However, he's exposing himself moreso as totally incompetent, which might help us lose faith in people like him. It's not been so great for artists. A lot of furries, for example, are moving to Mastodon or Tumblr in response. I...
Changed my mind again, I'm not even going to enter any more OLDC entries ever, or vote. I've lost all inspiration really, and at this point, with the new rule change, that's another blow for me, too. It was fun entering the OLDC. Have fun.

The light stays on, hm? I guess it didn't completely power off EVERYTHING then, so I doubt anything with a power supply myself. Could it be a bad motherboard, or components on it like the CPU? After all, he's saying the CPU is maxed out.
If the farthest point I got in R-Types was a boss, then that would be it. I never got past it (or lasted for more than 5 seconds). I'd be more apt to play it if it didn't push you backwards in the level every time you died, considering its difficulty.
What I consider the hardest first boss...
Super Stardust HD is a great little $10 game that you can get. The game is about a ship whose path is limited to the surface of the atmosphere as he destroys rocks that hit the atmosphere but not go through it. One hit from an asteroid, you lose a life, but you get to continue from where you...
If I remember right, you can simply do a spindash-jump-thok and clear the whole thing.
EDIT: No, you can't, but if you time it right, you can land on the last log and clear it more easily that way.
But to be honest, it should be replaced with just some stationary platforms.
