You just have to keep going on about that stupid swim ability, don't you? That thing is practically useless after 3 zones. Telekenesis is actually useful for pushing away enemies and can be used anywhere.
D00D isn't adding it, not because he hates the swim ability, but because it does jack shit...
Personally I find THZ to be a solid level. It has a good size and decent length. I know where to go in Act 1 thanks to my experience in 2.0, but Act 2 doesn't need memorization, it's extremely linear.
Dude, using your mouse is only good for Match and CTF.
Just map the 'change direction' keys to your arrow keys/WASD keys, it makes life easier. Or just strafe.
But you yourself pointed out that there CAN'T BE SLOPES due to engine capabilities. Besides, you don't need slopes to get around SRB2's level design.
Tell me, have you reached Egg Rock yet? You don't need slopes to make that level great.
