Update: CANINE has recovered from COVID but progress on the new sprites is slow due to us having only one spriter who is dealing with irl stuff currently.
I've redone the superjump so now it can be performed while moving (the window to perform it is a bit longer if you're not moving). The height you gain is now dependent on how fast you were falling. This new fix should be out soon
The reason I removed the proper stomp is because I felt it...
Basically the superjump takes your speed prior to landing and uses that as a basis for the horizontal thrust it enacts when performed. Only I thought it was somehow a good idea to tie it to the direction mecha is facing... I'll fix that shortly

Here's a preview of the new CSS, done by AxeCrusader! His moveset is also being polished/redone by yours truly.
The new sprites are still being worked on but they should be completed hopefully sooner rather than later... A new version containing the new CSS, new placeholder sign and life icon...
Here's an image of the updated sprite as of today. Keep in mind we're still working on it.
Also for the next release, the Drop Dash has been removed but you no longer immediately uncurl from a hover.

The hover glitch has been fixed now, and the not curling while super-hovering is actually intentional (the current sprites used of course are placeholders). I plan for the dashmode runframes to be recycled for his hovering while super (also for use when going above your normal top speed IE...
Whenever I edit ANYTHING in the wad, the section with the modified thing(s) will turn red and becomes a completely white Sonic. I read everything in the wiki but it didn't help
