This specific wall, on the Knuckles path in Techno Hill Zone Act 1, is weird. If you climb there and cling on another wall in this room, it brings you up by doing this weird effect. This doesn't happens out of this room, even after you climbed the same wall.

There's a small hole on the floor, if you fall there you get stuck.

You're supposed to step where the Extra Life monitor is placed and then, after hearing the Black Eggman laugh sound effect, you will be teleported back to the secret room entrance. About the music issue, I don't know how this happened, could you give me more details about how it happened?
