tbh I don't know how to do Uekawa shading. But whenever I get around to releasing it, anyone can apply it.
Because I was going for Uekawa's art. The model's has the Uekawa striped soles mostly because I am still learning things about modeling and those Trial soles are more complex.

I know people want Shadow. But that model was a quick Super Sonic edit I did a few years ago and was mostly me dicking around and learning Blender.
I'm proud of how the new light speed charge effect turned out. I basically had to mod SA1 so I could record that effect itself and Shine implemented it into the game. It takes an effect that was a ton of sprites and calculations to a single sprite and it is extremely efficient in comparison.

It's intentional. The sprites were restructured to be more optimized and to account for the new sprites added and to take up less freeslots which are currently an issue. So models need to be updated to use the new sprite structure since they were gonna need updates anyway.
