[Open Assets] Super Mystic Sonic [SMSreborn v3-2: Boundless]

Hoo boy. Where do I even start? First of all, it bears noting that having been around since 1.09.4, SMS is something I was a fan of for a long time, to the point of having some pretty tangible influences on my online presence for years. That said, I also separated from that a long time ago...

    SC_Medpack (Previously known as SC_GMS)

There are plenty of ways to advance a level using lua. You can do some pretty complex stuff with it, which would take a ton of linedefs to do without. For instance, the new Brak Eggman, as I recall, is largely coded in lua. You can easily use it to manipulate larger quantities of different...

    SC_SkyPlace

A couple things to go over. First off, as Metal stated, the level's rather bland- it has little visual appeal. Try adding some bushes to the grass areas, and maybe some columns along the bridge. Second is your rather poor enemy placement. For one, Crawlas aren't a threat in a sky level like...

    House

Needless to say, this WAD is brilliant. It didn't take me long to pick up on the creepy feel of it, and was a bit worried there'd be a screamer or something, but I'm happy to know there wasn't. The storytelling is done really well, and I did spend like ten minutes on it the first time, as it...

    Geometry breakable by rings?

It should be possible, you just need some creative use of linedefs and FOFs. It'd probably end up being similar to making bustable blocks, but with a bit of extra work.

[Open Assets] Gravity Shield - 6/8/14 Update

In extension to this you can stack the effects of the gravity shield with another shield, such as the attraction shield in GFZ1. This includes the additional hit you can take, effectively resulting in a two-layer shield. (The gravity shield goes first.)

[Open Assets] Super Sonic Challenge! v2

Hey, would it be possible to modify the code to work on a single-level basis? And if so, would you mind if I used it in my own level? (which, yes, is the same one I posted in Editing) But yeah, this is pretty cool. DSZ1 is a bit of a bitch, but this is a really awesome idea. (and yes, metal's...

[Open Assets] SRB2 Soundtrack Remade (OGG)

If there was ever a complaint I've had about SRB2's music, it's the super sonic theme (which feels a bit too bland to me). You managed to make that song so awesome while maintaining the original theme to some degree, and made all the other songs so much more awesome. Seriously, this is...

    Kart Krew™'s exe mods

I did find a video of this on YouTube, and it actually looks really fun. I'm definitely looking forward to playing around on this when it's released. :>

    Gravity Shield

This definitely looks like something really useful, yeah. Being able to switch gravity at will would be a really cool gimmick for some puzzles. I look forward to screwing around with this once you're finished with it. :>

    Looking for feedback and advice

...I was considering just stick to that, but having it make a bunch of emerald sounds upon entering the level drives me insane (and I doubt I'm the only one), not to mention the semi-incompatibility with star posts. Then again it's not like using a sector-based trigger will help any with that.

    Looking for feedback and advice

The problem with using ThinkFrame is it'll transform Sonic all the time- which is not quite what I want. The intention was to automatically transform you once, and then you have to maintain a steady supply of rings throughout the level to avoid losing your transformation. (Hence why a Level Load...

    Looking for feedback and advice

I tested it, I'm not sure if it improved anything. I don't know if it's because the trigger sector is broken or something else. :\ (I should probably be using a "level load" lindef trigger, actually...)
