What is the hardest Sonic boss you ever fought?

Most likely, "Egg Rock Zone 3," it doesn't really get hard when you know how to beat him. I mastered it. So, there wasn't really a hardest boss I had. Plus, Sonic and the Secret Rings, of course, the last boss on that game was the hardest, until I mastered him also. So lets just say "Last Boss On Sonic and the Secret Rings" was my hardest boss in the past.
 
Doomsday Zone's boss, such a suiting name, as I'm pretty much doomed whenever I get to that zone.
 
I really have almost no trouble with sonic bosses, though Sonic 4 episode1's Final boss looks pretty tough. The hardest one I ever actually played against is Tails/Eggman Sa2b (The second one) because the stupid laser beam.

I had trouble with Erazor Djinn in Secret Rings.
(Not the final form that you fight as dark spine. Just the regular form.)
 
The race against Metal Sonic to save amy's life in Sonic CD, enough said. you go full speed hit something you bounce back and lose momentum...HE GOES THROUGH IT! If you make any tiny mistake its game over!

Meh, it took a while to me to master how to hit Erazor Djinn. I think that Dark Spine battle was easyer by at least a half... =\
 
My hardest boss/level

The boss I HATE is a Werehog stage, The Great Aquaduct: Act 3. Can't imagine how many Game Overs I got from that level. I finally defeat the darn thing, and I get a S rank... :|

I then went "WTFH" after that and took my fustrations out by kicking the snot out of Chris Thondike. :D
 
When you fight the biolizard as super sonic/shadow. Damn its seemingly infinite laser and those red balls that randomly shoot at you and bounce you all the way back.
Shadow: Sonic your almost out of rings
Sonic: NOOOOOO

Thats what makes it the best level in the game! I love the ending cutscene too.

Sonic 2 (Genesis)'s final boss has legitimate difficulty and it doesn't let you exploit invulnerability, so I'd say it's the hardest boss.

Sonic 4 (episode 1)'s final boss. Bearing in mind all Sonic bosses are way easier once you have them down pat, this one hits you sickeningly hard, especially if you beat Sonic 2. You have rings. The boss is easier than you remember. Then all of a sudden, a short circuit (you've come to expect twists to classic bosses, not entirely new Turns Red modes) and the guy flings his arms at you among many other things. And for the last hit, he's likely to make you panic and lose. Look at that damn reticule spazzing out without knowing what's happening, and then tell me about it later. :P
 
Sonic 4's bosses were, with the exception of Mad Gear's, pathetically easy to begin with.
The last phase is nowhere near as hard as people make it out to be. Once you learn to Spin Dash under him and dodge his missiles, he's no threat on his own. Once you learn how to deliver the final blow (which is genuinely unfair the first times), it becomes a piece of cake.

It's nothing more than a stupid difficulty spike in the form of a boss with trial-and-error elements.
 
Well i have too say Boilizard in sonic adventure 2 battle. It was very frustrating with those red ball things and the gravity change............

That boss was so cheap with the laser beam attack. D;
 
Hum...so many choices,but i will stay with the bosses of S2GG,some of then need very caution or then you are dead. D:
 
The hardest boss ? Ha, I remember I played a game with Sonic and I could not continue. But I forget what I was playing ! I may be wrong, but I think it was a boss in Sonic Heroes ... it was a knight of Eggman, there had a storm scene. I may be wrong! There are so many games and Sonic boss ... there may be a harder.
