Megaman 10: Nintendo Wii

you know, having a real lack of game enhancers has hurt this generation. It's because of the firmware updates blocking home brew and game enhancers that Companies like Capcom are even getting away with this crud. If they knew the majority of people could hack out their pay content like we could hack out leftovers last generation, they wouldn't be doing this so brazingly.

It was this generation that the big 3 in gaming had finally struck at the weak point of Action Replay and Game shark.

Again, not a fair comparison. Metal Sonic was unlockable in previous releases of SADX, and as a character, he adds little to no gameplay variation anyway.

...Except Eggman replacing the menu voices, which totally made up for it.

Select..Your character.

Awesome.

Well, a modded Wii doesn't really have to pay for DLC. There are ways around it.

Of couse there are, provided the DLC is in the base package/program, or are you saying that they can hack the Wii shop channel?

I think some people even hack to get VC and Wiiware for free so I guess both...

EDIT: Nevermind, I think they do it some other way...

No, I don't think that they can hack the Wii Shop Channel, or else every Wii would be fitted with explosives rigged to blow whenever unsigned code is run.

On a side note, I'm not sure who Wood Man should give his 'Worst Robot Master Name Ever' award to, Pump Man or Sheep Man....

What they do is obtain the program and dlc some other way when it's not included in the base package and hack that to get it to work. But in Bass case he was already in the base package with the code for the GB weapons. (Though no word on the stages yet.)

Then you would be paying more for the final product than you have as it stands currently.

If you're saying Capcom could have released the entire product for $10, I highly doubt they would have done that.
It's fine if it cost a little more. The problem is that most game companies are using this to mask the real cost of their game. Say the price of the box for a new game says $20, but when you get to actually sit down with the game, you find out that for the full experience, you have to clunk down another $40 in $5 chunks to play the full game. It looks cheaper than another $60 game on the shelf up-front, but in the end it's the same price.

Mega Man 10 costs $18, not $10. I don't have a problem with it costing $18; I have a problem with them advertising it at $10.

Mystic, the 5 dollar chunks thing happened for the Final Fantasy:After Years Wiiware DLC. "To play this episode, pay 500 Wii points" (And there are like 5 episodes)

Yeah.. you find out a 10 dollar game is actually 40. !@#$

Actually, DLC and other Downloadables (games, etc) are made into ".wad" files, which can be installed with a homebrew installer program. In Mega Man 9/10's case, the wad file is just the unlocker.

Wiiware games are possible to download, though. You can't hack the shop channel. You'll have to download it manually.

I have a Wii with homebrew. I have installed VC/WiiWare games on it instead of through the Wii Shop Channel. While I can't explain in details due to this not being a piracy forum, glaber has the idea. You just install a package to your NAND that contains the game's channel.

Plant Man gave you a jetpack, so I hardly think he qualifies as the worst master.
Someone hasn't played MM2.

Anyway, has anyone found the boss order yet? I found a few weaknesses.

Solarman = pump
Chillman = Solar
Blademan= Comando

Thats all I got.
